Payton + Jacob | The Oldest House + The White Room

There will never be another, Payton & Jacob. Ever. Their wedding is just a small representation of their hearts and personality.

Sometimes people just walk into your life and when they leave you are never the same. That is the gravity of my relationship with Payton and Jacob. When Payton first contacted me, it was to plan her destination wedding in Downtown St. Augustine. She had done some venue research but overall was ready for Full Planning and major guidance!

I sat down and ran numbers for the venue she was leaning towards in her first phase, against what she wanted the wedding design to look like. It was not matching up. Not that it was too costly, that they would have been spending too much in one slot that was not necessary. That is a huge part of running the BA, does it make sense?! I ran more numbers on two other venues (an offsite ceremony and second reception location combo) combined with her style and IT HIT THE NAIL on the head.

With only photos, the BA numbers and trust, they took the leap on both venues and we proceeded. We turned The Oldest House and The White Room into a Woodland Fairytale. Think Alice & Wonderland without the LSD 🙂

With the help of our extremely talented creative partners, Fleurs de Vedra built a custom arbor to truly encompass a whimsical design. Party Solution Entertainment did projection mapping along the draping in The White Room, uplighting and a custom DJ facade to bring the woods IN. Then, there is the magically untraditional SPRINKLE wedding cake by Sweet Weddings Cake Design. The day is truly just filled with too much personality for one post.
