Planning for The Speckman’s quickly became a career and personal favorite. Not only because of their love and trust but it was TEG’s first wedding at The Clay Theatre. It certainly would not be the last.
When Kimberly first consulted with me, we were choosing between 3 venues. Once we combed through her wants and needs, the only perfect choice was a venue that was still under construction. The Clay Theatre officially opened in Spring 2019 so we were able to do our final walk through and such onsite. BUT the design process was a true test of faith, as Kimberly had never seen the site completed during that process.
Between knocking the BA process out of the park, bringing in a beautiful navy and BEGINNING the double feasting table that has become a regular staple at Clay Theatre, it was simply euphoric. If I could change anything, it would have been for the rain to not come through and wreck the ceremony. Kyle + Kimberly stayed true to the meaning of the day. I hid Kimberly quickly so I could usher guests from one location to another and I will never forget what Kyle did.
He grabbed my hand and said “Frankie, is she okay?” But with the most confident yet concerned face. He was ready to make her his bride, only if she was not panicking.
I replied, “She is fine and she is ready to make you a husband. Let’s go.”
And the rest is beautiful history!
TEG loves you, Mr. & Mrs. Speckman
