Caeleb + Meghan | Bowing Oaks

It took me MUCH longer to get this blog up than I ever thought, given my love for this couple. The Dressels were absolutely INCREDIBLE to work with. Side note: Their wedding was in the mist of Caeleb’s crazy Olympic swimming training schedule. For many, that would have meant holding off on the wedding. But not for Caeleb and Meghan.

Meghan’s initial board had a lot of burgundy/wine coloring in it. Ivory/Neutrals were going to be THE POP.

Once we got into hardcore phase of designing with @marbleandpine we made a big decision. To swap it. Meghan and Caeleb were married on Valentine’s Day weekend. So what does that mean?!?! Reds and pinks in the floral world are 3x +++ more expensive to purchase.

Meghan trusted us and made the decision to swap the initial plan because she wanted to FEEL an abundance of florals as it was more important to her than having the burgundy color everywhere.

This is where full design work comes in. We filled pinks and burgundy into all of her decor pieces and paper goods.

We put all of the burgundy heavy pieces into her bouquet and the head table and allowed the other variations to blend throughout the wedding.

We designed floral pieces to be utilized in the ceremony AND reception! Moving the altar pieces to the dessert station and the aisle pieces adorned the tables.

Then, had @partysolutionent light up the ballroom with a blush setting to warm everything up.

Although the design was gorgeous and so much better than we could have imaged, this day was about so much more than a wedding. It was about the marriage!

It’s been an honor to be a part of C+M’s lives. I was Team Dressel from the first call and will be for life!
