Samantha + Bryan | The River House | St. Augustine, Fl | The Eventful Gals

Over a year later I still cannot talk about Samantha & Bryan without tearing up. Samantha was a complete visionary and when I tell you she left no detail untouched, I mean it. More importantly the radiation of true love comes from these two. Not every couple has a “best friends forever” vibe and these two are just magnetic. They incorporated their love of the ocean (any type of water really) with a watercolor and sea-glass inspired design scheme. The River House with her Lighthouse views was the perfect setting for this event.

If you don’t know, Kevin Santos (Owner of Party Solution Ent.) and myself have created quite a portfolio together. Whenever there is a wedding design that I know has the ability to be a show stopper, I WANT him to come close the deal with lighting and a party unlike anything I’ve ever seen. He finished up Samantha’s perfect vision with full room uplighting and a clean DJ setup. This is super important at this venue since your DJ is front and center of your entire reception. Fun Fact: I sat on his porch for over a year talking about how excited I was for this event. Like PUMPED.

From the signage, the table numbers, the name cards, the chocolate dipped oreos (with mermaid, turtles or shells painted on them) and EVEN oyster shells to hold salt and pepper THIS DAMN WEDDING WAS INSANE. The bouquet broke the internet and even the wedding gown was scalloped to give the perfect mermaid touch. A live painter, a killer photographer and more! We were honored that a couple who gave this much thought to the day, chose TEG. Samantha could have chosen anyone and I am still ecstatic it was me.
