There is not a venue quite like The Treasury on the Plaza in Northeast Florida. The columns, the lighting, the marble floor, and the famous Vault that hold the bar for the event are enough to make couples sign the dotted line during their first visit.
Nichole contacted us in 2015 for her wedding that she was planning all the way from NYC. She was so lovely from the beginning, you could actually feel her kindness through the phone in her voice.
It was a big event to plan from such a distance away. Over 175 guests, a Black Tie Affair, and also having to organize vendors to flip the venue from ceremony to reception in under an hour.
With the amazing vendors Nichole & Jared chose, it made the usually daunting task run very smoothly.
To start their wedding weekend, guests were welcomed to a beach house in Ponte Vedra for their rehearsal dinner. A trolley then picked up all guests from their hotels on the wedding day to take them to the venue. There they were greeted with smiling faces and a romantically candlelit ceremony space, draped from floor to ceiling and acoustic music to set the tone.
During cocktail hour the guests were brought into the Exchange Gallery while vendors transformed the space into the jaw-dropping reception. Nichole & Jared were able to sneak in the reception space before the guests and were so excited.
Kelly, Nichole’s mother had played a major part in planning and was very thrilled as well. Nichole & Jared were all about each other and their families. A very close bunch they are. I cried during Mr. Johnstone’s toast and watched as Nichole celebrated with her brother and mom.
Jared’s family is Jewish so watching everyone come together to do the Hora was pretty amazing thing to witness. All and all the day was as you hope every wedding becomes. A celebration of two people who become one & the joining of two families.
